About Air Codes
Everything began in 2013, driven by my passion for aviation, when I launched the Air Codes app for iOS. In the early days, the app had a basic design and relied on an outdated airport database I found online.
Over time, I gradually enhanced the user interface and completely rebuilt the database from scratch, shaping the app into what it is today. New features were introduced, including detailed information on airlines, aircraft, flight statuses, accident reports, and aviation news.
Today, the app is complemented by a dedicated website, allowing users to contribute by adding airports, airlines, news articles, and even reporting airplane accidents on both platforms. The latest addition is the Air Codes eShop, offering custom merchandise for aviation enthusiasts.
