A Boeing 787-8 operating a flight from Ahmedabad Airport to London Gatwick Airport, crashed into a nearby medical college building, within a minute after takeoff killing 241 out of 242 people on board and at least 38 people on the ground. This is the first hull loss and the first fatal accident involving the Boeing 787.
